We’re in the south of Spain and it’s raining. The boys are in the studio – I can hear a trumpet, so I can deduce that I’m probably not needed… Am convinced that a song we wrote yesterday (I think it’s going to be called An Immovable Thing) is already a song, but Jimmy assures me it just sounds like Misery Marmalade that we “wrote” back in August. Another excuse for me to not pop in to the studio is that it would involve walking outside… if you could only hear the rain. We have been awfully lucky with the weather so far – if it hasn’t been hot, it’s certianly been sunny. Amazing to think how damp and leaf-sodden the ground will be back home. I don’t really want to go. I only hope our flight’s not delayed as the connecting trains from Gatwick are pretty tricky on a Sunday evening.

On Monday I am going to call Nigel at Copysound to talk through the CD arrangements. Hope I’ve chosen the right company! Am very keen to see a proof of the booklet design before we go ahead and print 1000 copies, but that might make the process slower. Oh, who cares. It can’t be rubbish, not after everything that we’ve put into it. I’m also going to make sure I’ve done everything I can for Wes – I think I have to create a couple more Soundcloud players for the ‘Our Songs’ section on the site, and get some artwork to him. I’d really like to update the facebook page with some finalised songs. Am so sick of the 2009 stuff! Only ones I could listen to loads are Roadside Comedy and 71 Hours.

That’s is from me. I’m boring you, I can tell.

PS please don’t encourage the boys in their ‘worrying livestock’ topic.
