How to do Appeasement…

This morning Jimmy left a hoodie on my desk. I didn’t sound happy enough when asked to model it for my colleagues. The fallout is below. Jimmy swore at me…Im still crying at my desk. He claims it was Abubilla swearing, not work swearing. I think that’s a clever get out clause.

The Saturday Morning Canasta Club intends to hold a final vote to review recent selections of Scholars. It has come to our attention that sufficient grovelling from recent winners has negated the need for further action. The Sub-committee on Sucking Up and Nice Nice has informed all other sub-committees to stand down. However, the Sub-Committee on Hoodie Modelling is still in session to determine the results of a Recent Scholars dance about the office with an Abubilla Hoodie.

Oh Clever. Rather than trash the hoodie, trash me and somehow imply that this is a better outcome.
The Saturday Morning Canasta Club intends to hold a third vote to review recent selections of Scholars. It has come to our attention that a recent winner has referred to our chief button pusher, miserable vocalist and bad lyricist a ‘trouble’, complaining of persistent pestering. For his part, Linda Buttons would like to note that the ‘pestering’ involved: a) congratulating her on the win, b) explaining the humour and significance of the front logo, and c) suggesting that we gather around a few mates to congratulate her. If this is Pestering, Linda buttons would like to be pestered a bit. The Subcommittee on Recent Scholar Libellous Accusations of Pestering will report to the previous mentioned subcommittee on its findings. In addition the Subcommittee on Founder Cuddling will meet with Linda Buttons and help him get thru this.

This is an outrage, violating all sense of community and seriously hampering the vibe that is all things Abubilla. The Sub-Committee for Scholar’s Hoodies, Intelligence, Talent, Brains and Generosity, which reports to the Committee for Scholars and Assistances, will convene at our secret location at 4PM this afternoon to discuss. Please bring your hoodies and special voting and punishment stick.
