There are three trustees of the Abubilla Music Foundation.

 

James Allen

James is a senior Director and Member of the Board of Bain & Company, a global management consultancy, where he co-heads the firm’s Global Strategy practice. He has 20 years of experience in international business and has worked in Africa extensively during that time. He founded Abubilla Music in 2008 to develop young recording artists and has been working with Ketebul Music since 2009 to establish the Singing Wells project. He has an MBA from Harvard University and an MA in International Economics from Johns Hopkins. James is a dual US-British citizen and has lived in the United Kingdom, with his wife and three children, since 1995.

Martyn Ward

Martyn is Managing Director and proprietor of Adevia Health Ltd, an international healthcare recruitment company he founded in 2001. Prior to this he lived in Europe, the Far East and West Africa usually in country General Manager positions of subsidiary companies of UK, US or Italian global consumer goods companies. Martyn is British, married with two children and lives in Notting Hill, London.

Kathy Allen

Kathy works as a counsellor privately and in the NHS. She is accredited by the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She is also a doctor having trained in the the US. She has worked as a GP in the USA, Russia and the UK. She is married and has three children. She is originally from the USA but has lived in the UK since 1995.
