Things beginning with B – Winter 2009 Spanish Jam

BeeCells. Downloaded to my iPhone following advice (pressure) from Louise, I didn’t see much of my phone for the next few days. This might also explain why I can only get to about half the best score that Lou has set. Oh well, it’s good to share. Even Jimmy got hooked (never heard so many cuss words).

Bass run. Invading London is my fave new song so far for 2010. As the jam progressed, I launched into a bass run during the chorus which took me a couple of octaves up the neck, where I had to noodle a little whilst working out how to get back down for the next run up. That was the first and only time I got to play bass all weekend (I was also on drumming duty) so assume that a plan must have been implemented to prevent a peaked-early incident.

Birthday. Jimmy’s birthday was brilliant. Thanks for letting us share it with you, along with your finest French reds, fab food and good company.

Beer. Every time I looked, another can was there. I think they dropped from the sky, maybe from a UAV (unrequested alcohol vector).

Beasts of the field. It’s a worrying subject. Too much discussion might leave you feeling a little hoarse.

Bloke of the weekend. Props go to Andy for working long and hard on the 2009 mixing in addition to the 2010 jams with the rest of us.

Boarding pass. Again, props (or should that be turbines) to Andy for checking-in online, getting into boarding group A and saving a whole row of seats for us rabble – both on the way out and way back.
