Congas and Virgins…

Written by

Not my most profound blog (still coming, watch this space), but I did feel if I had lava in the studio tonight I could make it stop raining in London.

Whew.  How could you NOT click for more?     Mike, the drummer, needs Congas to achieve his full artistic potential.  Or so he claimed.  And he forced the studio to buy Congas.   Hannah and Hunter, the assistants, need a major broadband upgrade to do blogs properly and start to do our cheap and cheerful youtube videos.  Or so they claimed.  And they forced the studio to buy a broadband upgrade, in this case going with Virgin for 50Mbs.

Now the studio is me, and the studio is Kathy saying hi to postmen.  And the postman came today with three boxes.  Two congas and a box from Virgin giving us some gift for going with them (margins???).   So Kathy said hello to Virgins and Congas in the same door bell.  And we have a song, Starin’ at My Shoes, that has gone thru a big uga, aga chant thing (long ago abandoned).  But I put it on, assembled the congas, thought of the Virgin gift and decided… If I just had lava I could change the world.  Or at least stop rain in London.

And I wrote this.  And then I looked for something do give you in terms of music, pictures, videos.  And I found this.  And I’m pretty sure this is really, really profound.  But it is way beyond me.    The same person who can tell me ‘what she knows’ can also tell me what the heck this is about:

Okay, off to bed.
