Well it’s always fun to learn about artists from around the world, old or new! So this is why I love Voices, I’ve discovered so much just by reading about music from all the different cities pinned on the map, so really take a look at them. I’m not a geographer myself (really not), so some of them I know nothing about, like Tonneins, I hadn’t realised how beautiful it was! It’s part of the Lot et Garonne department of south-western France. It stands above the river Garonne, between Marmande and Agen.

So Michel Polnareff was born in Nérac, also in Lot-et-Garonne, and he always wears funny white sun glasses, so I decided to listen to him. Turns out he’s awesome! He’s a french singer-song writer who was popular from the 60s to the 80s and it turns out that he wore dark glasses to protect his eyes, as his sight was awful. Glad that was cleared up.
I thought this video was really cool, and so here it is, please have a watch-it is supposedly one of his most famous songs, and the harmony is really quite special.
Hope you like the girl – her hair is just awesome.
