Steph’s “Greatest Hits” Blog List

Written by

So this week, I’m compiling a Greatest Hits list of my favourite blogs on the Abubilla site. What with the wealth of good stuff to choose from, it’s not easy.

There’s the helpful stuff, the interesting stuff, the silly stuff...but I have to cherry pick my favourites, so here goes:

5. Imogen’s Play List

For those philistines amongst us (me, for example) who know little about the theatre, this is an interesting list to take a gander at for its play recommendations. We’re lucky enough to have  a few in our team (Louise, Imogen, Hannah) who are keen thesps and know a thing or two about what to look for in a decent play. If it were left up to Soph and me, we’d have panto every time (this one, in fact. For anyone who cares, it’s the World’s Best Pantomime).

4. Rob’s blog, brought to you by the letter B

Here’s another fun one to check out, if only for the mention of a UAV (unrequested alcohol vector. Anything new to blame for the hangovers).

3. Eric’s Blogs

I’m a SUCKER for a decent beatboxer (you MUST watch this video, you simply must) so Eric’s blog here is dear to my heart.

2. Hunter’s blog on Scroobius Pip

I don’t think I’ve mentioned it yet, but I am a HUGE fan of hip-hop; home-grown, British hip-hop in particular. This blog puts the spotlight on a favourite of mine, a guy who works with the beatmaker dan le sac (lower cases intentional, all you grammar pedants out there!) whose humorous and truly original music is a breath of fresh air.

1. Lou’s blog on Abubilla as the “prototype for indie music production/distribution”

Heartwarming to read – delivered in Lou’s funny style, and featuring an international back-slap from Major Matt Mason. He must know a good thing when he sees it 😉
