Teenager iPods

Written by

This is Hannah, I live in London too.

Teenagers like weird music, and I, as a teenager, am here to share some of this weird music with you.

Weird Number One:

Joanna Newsom. She plays the harp and makes strange faces when she sings, but it sounds amazing. I saw her live in the rain, mesmerising.

Fischerspooner. Kind of song I could dance to easily, but totally relax to it as well.

The Shiny Toy Guns – Don’t Cry Out (aaaah)

Last techno type I swear.

Also by the same band, I sincerely hope you all recognise it.

Okay now we move away from that type of obscure, to a totally different type of obscure:

Slightly less well known Johnny Cash and June Carter duet: this is one of my all time FAVOURITES.

Okay and now, 80s funk music. (This is a very diverse list)

They’re a modern band, funnily enough.

And this is one you’ve probably heard, but its one of my favourite Lily Allen songs, very rude but so well written!

And I’ll finish with a soppy one. This band is not very well known, but their stuff is beautiful.

Happy Listening!!

  2. Aren’t they just awesome? Favourite band at the moment, as well as the funky 80s one. Check out Christmas TV as well by the Slow Club, so so lovely.
