This Week in the Studio: 10.06.05
Written by Jimmy
It was meant to be a ‘liner notes’ day. But then our COO brought her fiddle. No studio this week – or that was the plan. Jimmy and Andy worked on song sequence and sorted out track gaps. Yes, there’s even art in the silence. We’ll do a whole ‘How to Blog’ about gaps. No, we probably won’t. So it was almost a wrap.
And then Steph brought her fiddle. And she’s pretty good with her fiddle. Then Steph started to sing. And she’s pretty good at fiddlin’ with her voice too. Who’d have thunk it? So we had Steph fiddle on Another Day. And we had Steph fiddle on Chamberlain in Munich. And then Steph sang a bit on Another Day. And those were the last inputs to Misery Marmalade and it is a wrap. Good fiddlin’ Steph. That’ll do. And we kicked Steph out of the Studio.
And then Jimmy sang the verses to 500 Letters from New York to Andy, and we started on the first potential song for Voices. The king is Dead, long live the king. So we’re off and running on the third album. And done with the second.
And then we finished all the &^%&% jam jars. Boy do we hate Jam Jars. But we’ve now finished the liner notes and all the jam jars. And it’s a wrap.
