For all of you self employed people out there, when someone gives you a receipt for something, be him/her a cab driver for example, make sure you or him/her, write the date on said receipt. That way, when it comes to January and you’re sorting through your receipts, you’ll not be wondering why you took a taxi in London that cost £13.20, and you might have some idea of why you kept said receipt and whether the journey was business related or not.
