Michael writes and performs Mansuit, Andy composes a silent movie soundtrack, and Rob plays keys…
The Music
- Spent the day with Michael, putting the last couple songs down for his Discovery Album. Michael brought his new Fender Amp and performed a Pink Floyd meets Lambchop new song, entitled Mansuit. He played all guitars, bass and percussion – Tom added drums early afternoon. We’re hoping to get the discovery album done before the Spanish Jam, so watch this space.
- Later, Andy and Rob worked on a 1 minute composition for a video by Hunter… very French, silent movie meets Radiohead. If Hunter gets permission of the model, we’ll post the video, which is quite cool.
Everything Else
- A small turnout over the bank holiday weekend, so we used the time to restring the guitars and get the midi keyboards all working. I bet you’re glad you read on for this info.
- We also had a Singing Wells meeting in the morning and looked at the first output from the Lake Turkana festival. We’ll leave off the bit about the missing video files.
- Compared Bee Cell Scores of those that attended. Rob with 515 appears to have Abubilla Music high score. Jimmy came in at 463 but we’re certain Sophie, Lou or Helen will beat that. And speaking of Sophie and bees…
