AKA trio: You know they’re talented when…

They are at a new level of good playing LIVE. So many bands can’t play live as well as they can on record. On the contrary, I think these guys are definitely performers as much as they are writers. I went to see the AKA trio in at The King’s Place in London, they were phenomenal.
Three men, one from Brazil (Adriano Adewale – he was my favourite), one from Senegal in West Africa (Seckou Keita) and one Italian – Antonio Forcione (people have said he is one the best guitarists in the world, he has awards and talent to prove it! You must know this guy – he can play the drums with his guitar, please click that link you won’t regret it, this is amazing)
They are a new trio; percussion, guitar and a ‘kora‘ (a West African harp-like instrument)…
