Britain’s Got Talent…what it is really like

Written by

We’re not big haters of Britain’s Got Talent here at Abubilla, but we seem to be spreading bad news about them a lot on our blog after our post on the guitarist who turned them down: here

UPDATE: conspiracy theories abound at Abubilla HQ as the blogs have been taken down, and no mention of them is made on the site.. Check out the site anyway as it is a good source of stories about being a classical musician in London.

Well, next we’re going to direct you to the blog of Rachael – the cellist in London based String quartet Raven, who were invited to take part in the competition by BGT.. at this point I’ll hand you over to Rachael:

Here’s part one:

and part two – the deliberation stage of the process:

(watch out – there are a few swearies in there, but in this case, fully justified).

Best of luck to Raven in the future, and if you’re looking for a string quartet for a wedding, funeral or record deal, then give them a shout Find out more about them here: http://www.ravenquartet.co.uk/
