Friday the 13th: 3, count ’em 3! times this year…
Written by Jimmy
It’s a leap year. And Friday the 13th occurs three times this year, not the normal two. That’s January, April and July. Well, that’s good to know, then. There’s a website that tell you all about Friday the 13th, that helpfully points out, that notwithstanding the fact we have a three bagger in 2012, there will be no public holidays on Friday the 13th (Click Here). You would have thought that 3 Friday the 13th’s in one year would rank up there with London Olympics and Queen’s Jubilee. But no.
Paraskevidekatriaphobia is the fear of Friday the 13ths. This will be a tough year for paraskevidekatriaphobia suffers and I imagine that psycho-therapists specialising in helping with paraskevidekatriaphobia will have a field day. Maybe all the accumulated work on paraskevidekatriaphobia this year could lead to a cure of paraskevidekatriaphobia which would be wonderful for paraskevidekatriaphobia sufferers. To date, no songs have been written about paraskevidekatriaphobia but we are confident that our very own Tati will write a song about paraskevidekatriaphobia, probably for clarinet. In the US alone, there are 21 million sufferers of paraskevidekatriaphobia, which seems to be a good built in fan base for Tati’s song.
Best video I could find on Friday the 13th. Get to about 25 seconds and it will make sense:
