So I’m thinking I’m going to do an artist, or a few artists per week of advent just to give you a reason to listen to these awesome people!
So my first artist I want to talk about is Lucy Rose. Lucy Rose is a beautiful singer, that’s really all there is to it. So you just HAVE to listen to her album ‘Like I Used To.’ She’s the perfect voice to listen to when your at home, doing work, cleaning, chilling, doing anything really because you can just listen for so long. Last month her album seriously got me through my Art coursework and the tracks really worth a listen are

You’ve also got to love Lucy’s cuteness! Last week she did a private gig for the first 30 people that commented on her facebook status! WITH a plus one! How generous is that!? If only Rihanna and Justin Bieber would do that…
But no Lucy Rose is a lovely girl and her songs are beautiful. I love the guitar in ‘Night Bus’ because it’s so easy and soft. I could listen to it all day. The lyrics and tune in ‘Bikes’ also work really well. The song is quite repetitive which shows that you’ll be able to listen over and over! Bikes is my personal fave.
Similar artists are Laura Marling, Alt-J and Joni Mitchell (who was an inspiration to Lucy).
