Men: Is this the first time in history?

Driving into work this morning and BBC 4 was discussing two grand topics.   The first was that researchers were using new scientific instruments to re-measure the length of the Great Wall of China (for detailed scientific article, click here) and it appears longer than we originally thought (The Australian Article).   The second, was that new research is revealing that we might have gotten Dinosaur weight wrong all along.    They might be much lighter and nimble than we originally thought (Telegraph article here).

So a simple statement:  I believe this is the first time in history that man was found to have under-estimated actual length and over-estimated actual weight.  I’m just saying…
