Mick Jagger, Philipp Kirkorov, Queen’s Jubillee, Jesus and Richmond Park

Just returned from Moscow – it was 35 degrees below zero. What happens when it is that cold? Your nose hairs freeze in 12 seconds. Your ears freeze in 2 minutes and your cheeck in 9 minutes. I stayed outside somewhere between nose hairs and ears. We were there for a great friend’s 60th Birthday. Last time we were invited to a 60th was to go to Las Vegas. We declined and the Rolling Stones showed up for a private gig. We vowed to never say no to a 60th Birthday again. It was amazing – wonderful family, wonderful dinner and we had our version of the Rolling Stones: Philipp Kirkorov, Buglarian born but known as THE Russian Pop Star. He’s had a ga-zillions hits in Russia and everyone in the party was swooning. Here’s his hit “snow” (Sneg, po russky), in honour of Chris and Jesus’s song snow from last week:
And here’s Philipp in action on the night:
And speaking of snow, here’s a bit from our February 9th snow fall:

(Answer: should be obvious, but for the record The Queen is celebrating 60 years, and the Rolling Stones and Philipp Kirkorov have sung at 60th Celebrations, with Philipp singing Snow, which Jesus Co-wrote with Chris, having seen flakes fall in Richmond Park).
