Packed House. Report back from the Half Moon 22 Jan 2012

Written by

Tonight we played to a packed house at the Half Moon.  We want to thank all of you who came out on a Sunday night to celebrate the launch of Tati’s album, Graceless (hint, hint, hint, available here).    We promise to send you recordings of some of  the performances for the night.   Here’s a taster:

1. Andy starts us all off with a couple songs of his..

2. Tati playing Fingertips from the new album

Martyn joins her.  Tati is singing Barbie and Martyn is…. well we never actually figured that out…we think he is telling her that he lost his harmonic somewhere over near Heathrow (but he’s pointing the wrong direction)

3. Chris Playing the Song 18 Years, while Rob and Martyn are backing him with a song that is more like 50 Plus Years:

… also joined by Hannah and Sarah on 18 Years. (Left to Right; Sarah, Chris, Rob, Hannah)

4.  Lou sings on 500 Letters from New York: (Left to Right: Martyn, Lou,  Andy, Mike)

5. Andy, joined by Chris, plays Wisconsin (L2R, Martyn, Chris, Andy, Rob)

We had Hannah in charge of merchandise, here she shamelessly flogs albums, t-shirts etc..

For those who weren’t able to make it, we’ll be posting pictures, videos and recordings.    The first set was all about our discovery artists,  with Lou, Andy, Chris, Hannah/Sarah and Tati all taking turns in the spot light.    The second set saw the full Saturday Morning Canasta Club in all its glory!

We’re sorting out next dates for Half Moon, so watch this space!
