What do to if bored at work (and dead flies not available)
Written by Jimmy
Okay. I hestitate to recommend ways to waste time at work, after the Abubilla Classic of Dead Fly Art. But here are two little games, brought to us by VSL, that will stop all work effectiveness (Steph and Hannah, you’re both banned!).
Let’s remind ourselves first of the single most fun thing to do when bored at work: Fun with Dead flies, brought to us by Lou’s Mum. This blog led Jimmy to ruin a recent trip to Spain, by trying to come up with Dead Fly Art that could be used at our Jam Jar Competition — the family would not let him eat at the table after a while. So that’s all you need to know about dead flies and by the way that is not what this blog is about. But, oh heck, we can always show one more picture:
But, there are actually two fantastic games that have been recommended by VSL (we highly recommend you subscribe to this, but rest assured, we are providing you with the ‘best’ of VSL):
1. Game one: Fun with Refridgerator Magnets. I will now use this exclusively for writing lyrics, hereby expanding my vocabulary by 30%.
2. Game two: Fun with Colours. This one took a while to sort out, but stick with it. It becomes very addictive, and for those of us who don’t have Bee Cell this may provide a suitable alternative. Rob will of course create a ‘mix’ from the music and this will appear on one of our songs for the Dec 2010 album, Bee Cell Rivals. You heard it here first – and can you believe we are now talking about songs for the third album, having ‘closed’ Misery Marmalade and Other Spanish Jams’?
Enjoy the loss of work productivity and short stocks as the economy declines further. And in closing, let me give you again, Tory’s favourite video of all time:
