Except this isn’t Erik, it’s Abubilla, sneakily slipping in a Sweden blog about cool bands discovered. (Who knew Sweden was the home of the awesome Abba, and José Gonzalez)
So I found The Shout Out Louds, a nice indie rock band from Stockholm itself. They’ve toured with cool people like The Magic Numbers and Kings of Leon and they have this really cool song! And check this one out too:
They’ve appeared on One Tree Hill, been featured in the New York Times and the bass player, Ted Malmros, won a Swedish Grammy Award for directing the video Young Folks for Peter Bjorn and John!
Okay now when I discovered that I was blown over. I love Peter Bjorn and John and you should see why if you now listened to the songs below. Turns out they’re from Stockholm too. Crazy.
