I’m Spike, our man on the ground in … well … let’s just say I get around.  Dispatches seem to come regularly from hottest spots in NYC, Austin TX and Sydney.  I’m probably too old to qualify as a ‘hipster’ but I seem to have proprietary channels that allow me to find ample bands that are on the verge of being the ‘newest sexiest exciting-est’ of the century.   And I’m perhaps too big a fan of hyperbole in his writing style.  Importantly, I have a day job.
