Passport Stamps and Customs: Don’t Touch My Bags if you please, Mr Customs Man

Written by

I was looking through my passport, which has a lot of very cool visas and passport stamps.  ” I think to myself” (great phrase from What a Wonderful Wonderful World), ‘Why don’t I do a  blog’ about my passport stamps.  And then, of course, I discover that someone has done a very good job.  Please visit Jan Krogh’s website.    But, while you’re going through it, please have Louis in the background:

I think his North Korean stamp is very cool (used as featured image) and I like his discussion of Lithuanian stamps.

The more I explored passport stamps online, though, the more I got nervous.  Feels like there is a very big market out there of folks selling stamps to be counterfeited.    I won’t link to the sites because I’m still recovering from Demimonde.

On a more innocent track, I did discover a song called Passport, which gets my Delhi Belly oscillating; enjoy:

But that’s not all, with this blog, you also get a video on the POTUS passport.    What do I mean – watch and find out.

Finally, there aren’t a lot of great songs about passports (including the one referenced above), but there’s a couple very good songs about passport control.   My favourite is ‘Coming into Los Angeles’:  Don’t touch my bags if you please, Mr Customs Man.
