%&%H GPS and the Arrival of ….

Morgan and I jumped a in car yesterday and drove off to Essex to pick up the little puppy. We would love you to tell you her name, but we don’t know. We’re doing this democractically which is a big mistake – we can’t even agree on dinner or TV, much less puppy names. Current short list: Juno (Jimmy’s Favorite), Jesse (Kathy’s), Brandi (Tory’s) or Millie (Morgan’s). Hunter doesn’t care. We’re all calling her different things and she is understandably confused. Here she is:
Turns out she looks exactly like Lewie and they are half or full brother – sister. Breeder checking records. So really it is Mike Myers and Mini-Me. Lewie is being all snappy and aggressive with her but then we realized that was how he played with our Retriever. We loved to take videos of Lewie going on a ride on Toby’s tail. Somehow that form of play a bit less funny when the object is the size of a coffee cup vs. a small truck.
Trip there was okay, although we had to go through Hanger Lane and the North Circular. Both of which are terrible places on earth. We guess the GPS heard us bitch because on the way back, she took us straight into London, Hackney, the City, the Embankment… the whole works. So we had to cross London on a sunny saturday in a car during protests along Pall Mall.
I was not amused, but kept my head, playing in my head, James Taylor’s classic:
