The Saturday Pizza Order
Written by Jimmy
Being part of the Abubilla Community is about sharing the full shabang! We’re like watching a DVD on the ‘Making of Classic Albums’ without actually the Classic Album bit (See: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Classic-Albums-Fleetwood-Mac-Rumours/dp/B00004RJAV/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1258888698&sr=8-2 ). So its all the behind the scenes of an extraordinary band, without us actually having done anything and without any pretensions to extraordinary. To demonstrate this, we feel it is important to share our Saturday, Papa John’s pizza order. A well fed band is, as they say, a chubby band. The order is:Wholesale Snapbacks.
1. 2 Medium Thick Crust Hawaian for Ed and Mike. The pineapple helps with keep the beat and finding never heard of chords.
2. 1 Medium thick crust BBQ Chicken for Andy: he likes them because Papa John puts the BBQ sauce on in concentric circles and Andy thinks it is kind of spacey. he denies drug use, but he does spin the pizza around going ‘ooooh’ before he eats it.
3. 2 Potato wedges for Louise and Rob. It is incredibly important that both of them get their carbs at the right time… Louise gets very, very grumpy if carb deprived. Rob, if you can believe it, just gets quieter.59Fifty caps.
4. Martyn has a wee little thin crust pepporami. He’s watching his figure apparently. Snapback Hats Wholesale. The fact that he washes it down with 7 beers does not go un-noticed by the rest of us.
5. Jimmy has an XXL the works, but just scraps off the ‘tops.’ His kids then eat the ‘bottoms’ for the rest of the day.
Our routine is arrive at 10 AM, play instruments while consuming massive amounts of caffiene. At 1230AM our Papa John guy arrives, takes the shoe from Toby who greets him at door. NEW SNAPBACK HATS. We then get another hour of great creativity but then the band starts drifting one by one into a carb coma. When we don’t meet, Papa John’s calls Jimmy to ask if there is a problem with our order. We think we represent 24% of their Saturday lunch orders. that is an estimate only and should not be viewed as an insider trading tip.
